July 19, 2003 Dorothy B. Kelly of Cazenovia passed away on July 19, 2003 in Oswego, New York. She was born May 19, 1915 in Warrensburg, New York and was the daughter of Frank and Maude Bisbee. She attended Cazenovia College andgraduated from Syracuse University College of Fine Arts in 1937 with a double major in Art and Education. She was a member of the Delta, Delta, Delta Sorority and the University Chapel Choir. She obtained her Masters degree from Syracuse University. Dorothy taught elementary and high school art at DeRuyter Central School for two years. She served as the Assistant Art Supervisor for seven years in the City of Poughkeepsie school system. She was the elementary school art teacher for 16 years in the Cazenovia Central Schools and retired in 1977. She was a member of the Cazenovia Retired Teachers Association. Dorothy was an active member of the Cazenovia First Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church Leonard's Society for over 50 years. She also served as a Deacon of the church for many years. Her hobbies included the Cazenovia Senior Citizens Bowling League, The Adirondack Mountain Club, and the Cazenovia Golf Club. She is survived by her husband of nearly 61 years, Robert H. Kelly, and her two daughters, Roberta Stinson (Robert) of Cazenovia, and Susan Miller (Harvey) of Minetto. She has five grandchildren; Jennifer Stinson Dinsmore (Adam) of Ft Knox, Kentucky, Mark Stinson of Cazenovia, Todd Miller of Oswego, Skylar Miller, and Nathan Miller of Minetto, and a great-granddaughter, Ahna Dinsmore of Ft. Knox, Kentucky. A funeral service will be held at the Cazenovia Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Private graveside services at the Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road Cazenovia. Donations can be made to your favorite charity..
