Loren L. Fincham, 51, died on Sunday Jan 28, 1979 at the V. A. Hospital in Kansas City. He was born Dec 22, 1927 in Clay Center, Clay County, Kansas, the son of Lester and Pearl Gilbert Fincham. He attended schools in Clay Center and was a graduate of Kansas University, Lawrence, Kansas. He also was a graduate from the Chicago School of Podiatry and Foot surgery, where he received a medical degree. He practiced for a number of years in Clay Center before moving to Kansas City. He recently had been employed by the Showalter Shoe Company. He was a member of the Masonic organization and St. Matthews Episcopal Church at Raytown, MO. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Navy.
The survivors are a daughter, Miss Lori Fincham of Independence, Mo; a son, Britt Fincham of Riverside, Mo; a sister, Mrs. Irma Jean Mahan of Buena Vista, Colorado. A memorial service was held on Tuesday in St. Matthew Episcopal Church at Raytown. Services was held on Wed. at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church at Clay Center. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
His residence was at 212 Hillside Dr., Independence, MO
