Juanita was born in Lula, Oklahoma on April 8, 1924; she passed away in Eugene, Oregon on November 3rd, 2013 at the age of 89.

She moved to Eugene to be closer to family after the death of her third husband in 2001. Also preceding her in death is her first husband Claude E. Morris and second husband Carl Schultz. In her youth she worked as a waitress on roller skates, there she met her 1st husband Claude. She also worked in a Glass factory in LA, as a baker for Van Decamps, and at The Carriage House in Redding. Juanita also owned her own retail dress shop.

Her Father William Johnson, Mother Effie Johnson, 7 brothers and one sister has also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son Billy Joe Morris from Sacramento and her daughter Patricia Downer from Eugene, Oregon. Juanita has 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She loved traveling with family and friends, crafting, and camping.
