Little-Davenport Funeral Home announces the death of Cora Skipper Garrett, age 99, of Flowery Branch who died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at New Horizons North following an extended illness.

Funeral serviceswill be held Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home, with Reverend Randy Walworth officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, December 17, 2004.

Mrs. Garrett was a native of Gwinnett County and had lived most of her life in Flowery Branch.

She was the daughter of the late James Wilson and Sarah Lawson Benefield.

She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of Duncan's Creek Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Bobbie Skipper, Flowery Branch; daughter, Willie Thomas, Flowery Branch; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Denise and Herman Murphy, Marietta; Juanita and Bill Appel, Woodstock; Renee and Gary Dailey, Lawrenceville; Tammy and Russ Danneman, Cumming; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Skip and Terry Skipper, Buford; several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Little-Davenport Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
