Adeline M. Tiffany, 89, a resident of Fillmore Pond in Bennington, Vt., died Monday, September 12, 2005, at her home. A memorial service will be held in Illinois at a later date. Burial will be in the family lot in Edford Township Cemetery, Henry County, at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Tiffany was born in Osco Township, April 13, 1916, the daughter of William and Wilhelmina (Meier) Miller. She received her early education in Illinois and was a graduate of Knox College, Galesburg. She later received a master's degree in botany from the University of Iowa. She married Harry R. Tiffany in 1958. He died in 1986. She owned AMM Seed Testing in Fresno, Calif. From 1958 to 1988. She was a member of the American Association of University Women in Fresno. She enjoyed reading, wild flowers and needlepoint. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Eric W. Tiffany and Lee Y. Park of Williamstown, Mass.; two nephews, Craig Miller and Bryn Miller, both of Geneseo, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Darrel Miller, and a sister, Hazel Miller.
