Woodward, Okla. — Delores F. Gonser, 67 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ed Dowty officiating. Burial will follow in the Curtis Cemetery.

Delores Faye (Horn) Gonser was born on August 6, 1946 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Donald Clayton "Bill" and Lettie Faye (Sidders) Horn. She was reared in Mooreland and attended Mooreland schools. Delores was united in marriage to Ronald Allen Gonser on September 16, 1963 in Yukon, Oklahoma. They made their home in Mooreland and were blessed with two daughters, Rhonda Faye and Christy Dawn.

In 1973 the family moved to Sharon and in 1985 they moved to Woodward. They family lived in several different states, including Nevada, Arizona, California and Pennsylvania because of Ronnie's work. They moved back to Woodward in 1993.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sharon and the New Covenant Church in Woodward. Delores loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed fishing, her beloved dogs and painting. Delores was a very talented artist who could paint eyes that you were sure were real and ribbon that looked like it was blowing in the wind.

She is survived by one daughter, Christy Lovelace Casey and husband Chris of Woodward; five grandchildren, Amber Camacho and husband Chava, Lacey Karpe, Michelle Whorton and husband Chris, Matthew Lovelace and Macy Casey; eight great-grandchildren, Damon and Devon Camacho, Lilly Fields, Drake Martin and Madison, Taylor and Carter Whorton; three brothers, Ron "Butch" Horn and wife Frances, Jerry Horn and wife Nancy, Terry Horn and wife Barbara; two sisters, Sandy Fowler and husband Sonny, Donna Kay Horn; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Faye Horn, her husband Ronnie on February 24, 1995, daughter Rhonda Karpe on August 20, 2003 and a grandson, Zebrick Camacho.
