He was an explosives salesman for 44 years and retired in 1965. He served in the U.S. Army. In 1923, he married Hazel Davis; she died in 1989. Survivors include his daughter, Jacquelin Levy of Gladstone; and sisters, Esther Dougherty of Redmond and Zelma of Depoe Bay., whose last name is unknown. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home.
