Arlene loved farming, horses and her pets. She was a homemaker and farmed in Washington Valley for many years after she married and before moving to Platea in 1969. Together with her late husband Raymond, Arlene had many horses and enjoyed frequent trail rides with friends and neighbors.
In addition to her husband, Raymond Babbitt, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Autumn Petrick.
Family members that survive include a son, David Babbitt and his wife Judy of Waterford; and a daughter, Judy Lakin and her husband Darrell of Smithfield, Va.; six grandchildren; and also nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
