Mrs. Anna A. (Morawski) Alexinski, 82, formerly of 53 Conrad St. died late Sunday night at Fairfield Hills, Newtown, after a long illness. Mrs. Alexinski was born in Union City April 18, 1894, a daughter of the late Alexander and Clementina (Pajeski) Morawski. She was a communicant of St. Hedwig's Church and was a Naugatuck resident the past 70 years. She was an honorary member of the Union City Community Club, a volunteer Red Cross worker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Polish Veterans Post 120. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Florence Griffin of Naugatuck; two sons, Stanley Alexinski of Middlebury and Joseph Alexinski of Waterbury; eight grandchildren one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:20 a.m. from the Green and Packer Funeral Home, 56 Terrace Ave. to St. Hedwig's Church for a Mass at 9. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Polish Veterans and Ladies Auxiliary, Post 120 will meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
