WEBSTER, Texas - Mrs. Viola E. "Vi" Rappolee, 85, a longtime resident of Ingram, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, in a Webster hospital. She was born June 19, 1918, in Millsap, Texas, to Ed and Ella (Lamar) Boyles. She married Al Rappolee on Dec. 1, 1970, in San Antonio. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2003.

Vi was a member of First Baptist Church of Kerrville.

She is survived by daughter, Jerri Anne Huff, of Pearland, Texas; sisters, Doris Long, of Mission, Texas, and Orva Bodiford, of Weatherford, Texas; brother, Marvin Ed Boyles, of Mission, Texas; grandchildren, Tracey Ann Gleason, of Lewisville, Texas, and Bret Babcock of League City, Texas; great-grandchildren, Britney, Laura and Denver Babcock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Al, she was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Norman, of McAllen, Texas.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Dr. David McFadden. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
