Charles Lawrence O'Dell Sr., 92, of Hiwassee, died at the home of his son, Charles L. O'Dell Jr. in Draper Saturday evening.
Born in Pulaski County on March 12, 1885. he was the son of the late Melton O'Dell and Sarah Jane Wilson O'Dell.
He was preceded in death by his wife. Bessie Elizabeth Smith O'Dell.
Surviving are three sons. Harry O'Dell and Darrell Pete O'Dell. both of Pulaski and Charles L. O'Dell Jr. of Draper; one daughter, Mrs. Luceile Bryson of Draper; 18 grand children and 35 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was today at 2 p.m. from the Bob White Boulevard Church of God with the Rev. W Talley Jr. and the Rev. Elmer Shelton officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Bower Funeral Home in Pulaski handled the arrangements.
