William F. Asbridge, age 96, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Thursday, November 14, 2013.
William is survived by his wife: Thelma (nee Duvall) of 73 years; 3 sons: Clint Asbridge, Donald (Sandy) Asbridge and Bruce (Sharon) Asbridge; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: JoAnne Asbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill retired after 40 years from U.S. Steel as a conveyor operator and was a member of United Steel Workers Union #1066.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12 Noon at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services in Merrillville, IN with Brother Kenneth Gamblin officiating. Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
