Raymond "Pops" Mason, age 80, of Belleview, FL passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was born in Ocala, FL on March 3, 1933. Ray worked as an auto mechanic at JWJ Automotive Repair. He loved anything to do with a motor. He also worked at the Coca Cola plant in Ocala and owned and operated Ray's TV. He was a lifelong resident of Ocala/Belleview.
He is survived by son Raymond Mason, Jr of Ocala, FL; daughter Doris Mason of Belleview, FL; son Ricky Mason of Hawthorne, FL; daughter Debra Snow of Ocala, FL; daughter Wendy Davis of Belleview, FL; daughter Donna Rozell of Ocala, FL; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Robby Mason and son Jessie Parker.
A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 5-8pm. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1pm. Burial will take place at Waldena Cemetery, Lynne, FL.
