Sullivan Fanning was a bright young boy of about 15 years. His mother, who was Miss Bailey, died when this boy was very young. He was raised by his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Joseph A Fanning, his father residing at DeLand, Florida. He was a member of the high school class of this town, and was a favorite with both teachers and pupils.
Some weeks ago he was stricken with typhoid fever and although everything possible was done to save him, the disease proved fatal.
