He is survived by wife, Florence K. Prahlow Carney of Hessville, daughter, Becky (Mike) White of Henderson, NV; sons: Carl B. (Marian) Carney and Wilbert R. (Vicki) Carney, Sr., both of Hessville; eight grandchildren: Jeff (Linda) Carney of Highland, Dan (Debi) Lipkovitch, Carla Hall and Tom Lipkovitch, all of Henderson, NV, Janna and Wilbert Carney, Jr., and Brian Nast, all of Hessville, and Julie (Keith) Markert of Merrillville; two great-grandchildren, Robert Carney and David Markert; many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, Tommy.
Mr. Carney was the owner of the former Carney's Dairy and Food Store. Married Florence K. Prahlow on 13 Jan 1945 in Hessville, Lake, Indiana. They had three sons and a daughter.
