Mrs. Elsie Marie Collins Marshall, 88, of Route 1, Hiwassee, died Wednesday evening at her home.

Born Oct 26, 1899 in Hiwassee, she was the daughter of the late Charles Collins and Flora Goad Collins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Lewis (Jake) Marshall and a son Stanley Marshall.

She was a member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Hiwassee.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William Mathew (Gladys) Dalton, Hiwassee; two sons, Ralph Ernest Marshall, Pulaski, and Charles Junior Marshall, Newbern; one sister, Mrs. Mae Turman, Pulaski; one brother, Frank Collins, Havre-De Grace, Md.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. from the Bower Funeral Chapel with the Elder Ronnie Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Shilph Cemetery, Shiloh. Visiting will be anytime Friday and the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening at the Bower Funeral ChapeL 1631 Bob White Boulevard, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangments.
