Private graveside service will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Father James Kallarackan, OFM, officiating.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Irene Advey, daughters and sons in law, Charlene and Rick Fakes of Nashville, Joanne Advey and Ronald Walton of Old Hickory, Diane and Daniel Reed of Mt. Juliet, grandchildren, Nicholai Reed, Hypatia (Matthew) Steed, Kimberly and Ryan Fakes, great grandson, Brenden Steed, and the youngest love of his life, great granddaughter, Harper Reed Dean.
Mr. Advey was of the Catholic faith. He served his country and retired after 22 years in the US Air Force. Then he went on to work another 22 years at Bridgestone before his retirement. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beesley Animal Humane Foundation in his memory.
