FRANK R. BAKER, 56, of 104 E. Lincoln Avenue, died Monday morning at Newton D. Baker VA Center in Martinsburg, W.Va. He was born in Hagerstown, son of Frank and Clara Franklin Baker. He was a member of the Washington Square United Methodist Church.

He formerly had been employed by Acme and for the past six-and-a-half years had operated the Lincoln Market in Halfway. He serve in the Army during World War II.

He is survived by his widow, Catherine Price Baker; two brothers, Paul F. Baker of Westminster and Charles E. Baker of Hagerstown.

Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
