Mrs. Arndt was born August 17, 1910 at Grand Meadow, Minnesota, the daughter of George A and Effie May (Derry) Flack. She moved with her parents to Dickens as a young girl and attended school there. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1927.
She married LaVern Arndt on December 25, 1929 at Dickens. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Methodist Church. She was a past president of the Eagles and played the piano for the drill team.
Survivors include her widower, LaVern; two daughters, Mrs. LaVonn Vaad of Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. Cheryl Finney of Spencer; three sons, Daryl of Omaha, Nebraska, Robert of Wichita, Kansas, and Gary of Dickens; 17 grandchildren and one brother, Raymond Flack of Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
An Eagle service will be held Thursday, at 8 p.m. at the Warner Chapel.
An Eagle service will also be held at the cemetery.
The Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
