Mrs. William Kennedy Boone, of Oak Hill House, Bellona avenue, the former Anne Gordon Herbert, died of a heart attack yesterday afternoon at Union Memorial Hospital.

Her husband former president of the Mount Vernon Belting Company, was ill at the hospital. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. H. Warren Buckler and Mrs. William Pinckney Whyte, of Baltimore and Mrs. Charles W. Hoof, of Alexandria, Va., and six children, William Kennedy Boone, Jr., of New York, James R. Herbert Boone, of New York and Baltimore, J. Marshall Boone, of Baltimore, Alexander Gordon Boone, of Towson, Mrs. Sarah Boone Middendorf, of Baltimore county and Mrs. Camilla Boone Herbert, of New York.

Mrs. Boone a daughter of Gen. James R. Herbert, of the Confederate Army, was a member of Chapter 1 of the Colonial Dames of America and the Order of Magna Carta. She had traveled widely and published privately a book "Round the World Cruise" for the family and friends.

In the spring of 1935, Mrs. Boone, her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Herbert Boone, visited Rome and were granted and audience with the Pope.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. tomorrow from the home.
