THOMAS PAIGE BENNINGTON
February 22, 1931 - November 1, 2013

Survived by his wife of 36 years, Gloria M. Bennington; daughter Mrs. Elizabeth B. Barr; sons Thomas P. Bennington, Jr., Richard H. Bennington, William B. Bennington, and David P. Bennington; and stepdaughter Michelle M. Lemoine. Tom is survived by a sister Mrs. Paige B. Stanley. He is also survived by 10 of his 11 grandchildren. His wife and stepdaughter were at his hospital bedside when he passed away.
Tom graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1955 and served in the Navy until 1966. After the Navy, Tom and his first wife, Albion Bacon, owned an AAMCO business for two years. He was in sales until he worked in the Power Plant and Lab at the National Institutes of Health. He retired from government work in 1992 and then worked as a building engineer for 14 months in Vienna, VA. After that Tom decided to stay home and do yard work and gardening.
His memorial is Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kensington Baptist Church, 10100 Connecticut Ave., Kensington, MD. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery at a later date.
