BACON, ANNA ELIZABETH, 83, of Shepherdsville, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. She was born June 29, 1921, to the late Robert and Flora Emberton Abner. She was a native of Barren County, KY, a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Shepherdsville and Star of Hope Chapter #183 Order of the Eastern Star and a past president of the Bullitt County Woman's Club. Her husband, William R. Bacon, preceded her in death. She is survived by her five daughters, Frances Smith of Leitchfield, KY, Sharron Robinson, Billie Sue Waters and Jackie Seago, all of Shepherdsville, and Faye Dawson of Payne- ville, KY, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bacon's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2004, at Eastside Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, with Rev. Ray Armstrong and Rev. Paul Hines officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. Memorial gifts may be given to the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
