Huntingdon Journal, Wed., 20 May 1868 - DIED. GRAFFIUS.-At Alexandria, Huntingdon county, Pa., on the 24th of April, 1868, Mrs. Elizabeth GRAFFIUS, wife of Israel GRAFFIUS, Esq., in the 76th year of her age. She was kind and amiable - an ardent friend. She was greatly beloved by all who knew her. Although her sufferings were severe, she never repined. God did it, and she felt it was well. So active was her faith in her Saviour, that touched by the hand of mercy her afflictions grew bright with even 'rapture's ray.' Intense as were the pains of dissolution, the final struggle was easy, and she gently fell asleep in Jesus. Angelic attendants conveyed her spirit to the mansions in our Father's house. . . . She leaves behind her a husband, who deeply mourns her loss, but who will soon follow to join her in the 'better land.' Her children will greatly
miss her counsels, and will ever rise up to call her blessed. . . .
