Elsie E. ENGLE, 83, of the Rochester Nursing Home, died at 4:12 p.m. Friday at the nursing home.
Born Jan. 24, 1902 at Hartshorn, Okla., to Tom and Sarah CLARK OGLESBY, she was married to Devere ENGLE, who preceded in death in 1973. Engle was a former Akron resident.
She formerly owned the Eat Right cafe in Akron. She was a homemaker and member of the RSVP.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Marion) HUNTER, Rt. 1, Akron, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. James MALBONE officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
