Major "Jack" J. Dudley, age 77, of Clam Lake, WI passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Saint Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.
Jack was born Sept 18, 1935 in Lake George, Hubbard Co., MN, the son of Reginald A. and Mata Dudley. On Oct 10, 1964 he was united in marriage to Patricia A. Ruhe at Williston, South Dakota. He was employed at Armour Meats in Saint Paul, MN for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling, snowmobiling and animals of all kinds. His greatest passion was spending time with his family, whom he loved very much. He won the "Groomer of the Year" award as trail boss for Ashland Snowmobile Alliance.
Survivors include his wife, Pat, of Clam Lake, WI; canine companion, Pooch; children, Mike (Pam) of Chippewa Falls, WI, Paula (Ron) Vollmer of Alma, WI, Linda (Donovon) Gunnarson of Fridley, MN, Kelly (Greg) Martell of Eau Claire, WI, Little Maj (Kathy) of Cable, WI, Kim Schiel of Eau Claire, WI, Pat Allen (Kathy) of Exeland, WI, Krystal (Rick) Guthman of Clam Lake, WI, Lisa (John) Kloss of Eau Claire, WI and Kevin (Pam) of Cable, WI; 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ervin (Renae) Dudley of Nevis, MN, Victor of Lakeville, MN, Dennis (Evelyn) of Nevis, MN, Maynard (Joan) of Carson, Washington and Herman of Nevis, MN; sisters, Muriel (Francis) Booge of Nevis, MN, Mary (Robert) Biermeier of Nevis, MN and Mina (Al) Lindgren of Lebanon, Oregon, Marlene (Nick) Litzau of Dorsett, MN and Katy Hellkamp of Nevis, MN; brother and sister-in-law, Louis (Sheri) Ruhe of Lake Wales, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
