He married 1) Estella Catherine Kuehner (daughter of Samuel Kuehner and Catherine Meckes) on 29 Jul 1909 in Gilbert, Monroe Co., Pennsylvania (she died just two years after they were married). He then married Lillie Agnes Green (daughter of Monroe Green) on 24 Feb 1912.
