Jacob Henry Croft was the eldest son of Jacob Henry Croft (1834-1906) and Geronia Ann Browning (about 1840-1889). He married Susan Elizabeth Newbern August 6, 1879 in Bradford County, Florida. This couple had four children of whom we have record: Virgil C. Croft, Thomas Henry Croft, Hiram Littleton Croft and William Eugene "Willie" Croft. The State of Florida Death Certificate of Jacob Henry Croft states he was buried at Bethel Cemetery Lafayette County, Florida.
