There is a memorial stone for Nannie at Eden Cemetery, but Nannie Junge Clevenger is actually buried in the Junge Cemetery.
Information from "The Junge and Tubbe and Related Families" by Amanda Cook Gilbert (Nortex Press, Waco, Texas, 2012)
Nannie Junge Clevenger was the oldest daughter of James Oswald Junge and Amanda "Jennie" Eddings, and married at the age of 14. She was only five feet tall, slender, with dark brown hair, dark eyes, and an olive complexion. She wore her long brown hair in two braids, which she twisted together into a bun, worn low on the back of her head. She was shy and quiet, enjoyed a quiet house, and she was never happier than when she was alone. She was only 15 years old when her first child, Little Joe T, was born. She often sang to herself or to her children as she worked. Nannie kept house, cooked, canned, and raised her children. She baked two giant skillets of biscuits each morning with fifteen biscuits to a skillet. After Joe died at the age of 60, she was left without a home or a means of support. She lived with daughter, Dorothy, for nearly twenty years. For a time she stayed with Leonell and Maxine Scarborough. Sonny, their son, remembers her as a kind and sweet lady who was neat and extremely clean. She had Little Joe T's son, Larry Wayne, with her. She carried a wet washcloth on top of her head, so she could use it to keep his hands and face clean.
After Britton Scarborough died, Nannie moved in with her sister, Lottie, and lived with her for two years before her death. She died just a few months before her eightieth birthday. She had fourteen children, with ten of them living to adulthood. Her family knew her as a kind, loving woman, who loved her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
