Funeral services for Mrs. Betty J. Burke, 78, of Henderson, will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2013 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Cawthon and Kerry Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Bridges Cemetery with Gary Box officiating under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.

Mrs. Burke passed away peacefully Monday, November 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born June 29, 1935 in Lufkin to Andrew Jack and Katie (Perry) Middleton.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of Northside Church of Christ in Carthage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Burke; sisters, Lenora Havard, Hazel Forrest, and Helen Middleton; and brothers, Horace Middleton and Jim Middleton.

Survivors include: son, James Russell Burke and wife Lori; daughters, Cindy Walton and husband Randy, and Lori Pryor and husband Bill; sisters, Dorothy Fletcher and husband Horace, and Marjorie Williams and husband Larry; sister-in-law, May Ellen Taylor; seven grandchildren, J.D. Walton, Tory Walton, Kevin Walton, Brad Walton, Sam Pryor, Trenton Burke, and Madilyn Burke; three great-grandchildren, Trinity Walton, Isabella Walton, and Rhonin Walton.
