She was born on November 3, 1924, in the Township of Newton, Marquette County, the daughter of Gustave and Clara (Wegenke) Reimann.
Adelia married Armand T. Golz on July 22, 1945, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the Township of Newton.
She loved to knit, crochet, play bingo, gamble, do word searches, crossword puzzles, play cards, and spend time with her family. Adelia was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Princeton, and was a member of the Ladies Aid of St. John's. She worked for Sand-Knit and other fabric sewing jobs as a seamstress for most of her life, and retired from Sand-Knit.
Adelia is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Orlo) Judas of Princeton; son, Gary (Diane) Golz of Madison; 4 grandchildren, Mark (Laurie) Judas, Tammie Rodgers, Brian (Jenny) Golz, Cindy (Brian) Bahr; 6 great-grandchildren, Collin and Courtney Rodgers, Alisha, Andy and Emma Golz, Mackenzie Bahr; 3 step great-grandchildren, Melissa Burwick, Katie Roberts and Brandi (Jeff) Bohling; 2 step great-great-grandchildren, Adelyne Wastruck and Isabella Roberts; 2 sisters-in-law, Isabella Golz and Jean Golz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Armand Golz; a daughter, Judy Trampf; her parents; and 3 sisters, Evelyn Grams, Elenora Kosloske, and Adeline Wedde.
A funeral service for Adelia M. Golz will take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 11:30 am, with visitation starting at 9:00 am, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 226 South Clinton Street, Princeton, WI, with the Rev. Daniel Heiderich officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Memory Hill Cemetery, Princeton. Memorials can be given to St. John's Lutheran Church or to the family of Adelia Golz for a memorial to be established in her name.
