Snowdon, Goldie L.- Age 82 years, of 26 1/2 Millview St., died in the home of her daughter, Louise Furtney, Saturday, July 27, 1968, after a lingering illness. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy E. Snowdon in 1952, a daughter, Mrs. Nora Felty in 1945, and a son, Earl in 1961. Surviving are the following children; Mrs. Mary Louise Furtney, Roy, Mrs. Juanita S. Shartzer, Robert, Mrs. Harry (Sara) Moats, and Mrs. Charles (Alice) Blake, all of Uniontown, Mrs. Martin (Loma) Knech of Salisbury, Pa., Mrs. Ralph (Goldie) Raymond of Flagler Beach, Fla., and Mrs. William (Jean) Yanecko of Pittsburgh, twenty-seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Leaf of Garden City, Michigan.
Friends are being received in the Edward E. Minerd Funeral Home, 196 W. Main St., today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday until 2 p.m., the hour of service with Rev. Vincent T. Ross of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
