Jean Clower, 98 of Roanoke, VA. passed away on Monday November 11, 2013. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was the daughter of John Franklin Pendergrass and Etta Pearl Jordan. She is survived by two sons, John W. Clower of Bloomington, Indiana, and Thomas M. Clower, Jr., of Roanoke, Virginia, one sister, Juanita Standifer of Sale Creek, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mitchell Clower, two sisters, Gladys McCullough and Nina Nichols of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and two brothers, Harry Pendergrass of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Louis Pendergrass of Melbourne, Florida. Funeral services will be at Oakey's South Chapel at 12:00 Noon on Thursday November 14, 2013. Pastor Robinson McAden will officiate. Interment will be in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 11:00 A.M. Thursday till service time at Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made t o the charity of your choice.
