The tombstone reads: Peter Felt
Dec 30 1854 - Dec 2 1914
Per documentation this is wrong - Peter's parents were Peter Felt and Salome Klein and they were married Feb 4 1845 in Ludweiler, Rheinland, Prussia. Per baptism records in the Evangelisch church at Ludweiler, Rheinland, Prussia, Peter was born Jan 30 1846 and baptized Feb 8 1846. Per the passenger lists 1820-1957 Puner Feld (Peter Feld) arrived in the United states on Aug 29 1846 with birth date est abt 1846 age 3 months born in Germany, departed from Le Have France and arrived in New York on the ship South Carolina. The birth date on the tombstone is definitely wrong, but I don't know why the date is 1854.
