Amelia L (Drennen) Houser, 81 of Williamstown, WV, passed away the morning of November 11th at her home.

Millie, as she was known, was born February 29, 1932, in Marietta to the late David E. and Marian Drennen.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and was currently worshipping with the Riverside congregation in Williamstown. Millie retired from Harts/Big Bear with over 20 years of service and was an active member of the Williamstown Senior Citizens. One of her favorite pass times was singing, and she loved participating in the Mid Ohio Valley Friday night sings.

She is survived by her four children: Cheryl (Steve) Fisher of Bloomington, Ind, John (Carla) Houser of Harrisville, W. Va., Jay Houser of Williamstown, W.Va., and Charles (Lori) Houser of Kent, Ohio. Daughter in law Connie L Houser, and son Harry D. Houser deceased of Williamstown.

Grandchildren: David (Mendy) Houser, Justin (Tracy) Houser, Tim (Trish) Fisher, Andy (Stephanie) Fisher, Jonnay Houser, Mara (Joseph) Colkett, Amy Leasure, Tristan Houser, Fallon Musgrave, Kristin Houser, Walter Houser, Grayson Houser, Grant Houser, and Garrett Houser.

Seven Great Grandchilden: Laura, Morgan, and Addison Fisher, Aubree Fisher, Sydney and Mason Houser, and Eli Houser

She is also survived by her brothers Bill (Marilyn) Drennen of Marietta, David (Dorthea) Drennen of Reynoldsburg, Ohio

In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by her husband Harry G Houser, oldest brother Grant Drennen, and sisters, Mary Louise Caldwell, and Wilma Foster.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Nov. 14) at 11:00 am at
McClure-Shafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta with Roger Rush officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday after 2:00 with family greeting friends between 2-4 and 5-7. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
