Edgar Willard Mouser, 59, was fatally wounded on the front steps of his residence at 705 Miradon, Jefferson Parish, when one of two shotguns he was carrying was fired accidentally.
Jefferson Parish authorities say the gun had a hair trigger and apparently fired when it was bumped or dropped.
