Phoebe Ann Shipley, 67 years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Garletts of Furnace Hill, near Dunbar, Sunday morning a 7 o'clock. Death was attributed to complications. She had been bedfast for three months. Mrs. Shipley was born at Dunbar, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bryner, both deceased. She was an active member of the Methodist Protest Church. She had been a widow for a number of years and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard Brewer, Mrs. Luther Bryner and Mrs. Lee Garletts, all of Dunbar. There are four grandchildren. Robert Bryner of Dunbar and George Bryner of Hutton, Md., are brothers.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Garletts home and at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Protestant Church. Rev. O. W. Bolton, pastor, will be assisted by Rev. D. E. Minerd. Burial will be made in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
