Ruth Elaine Lyons Wright Dennis, 61, of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home to be with her Savior on May 11, 2010, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 16, 1948, the daughter of the late Raymond E. Lyons Sr. and Hazel W. Cross Lyons.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela Anderson; and three sons, Paul, Brian and Chad Wright, all of Parkersburg; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Nancy Sundstrom (Mike), Violet Sims (Mike), Frances Null, Sue Salyers, Marie Lyons; three brothers, Raymond, Charles and Billy Lyons; several nieces and nephews; and her companion and best friend, Dale Johnson. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianna Lynn Allman; brother, Samual L. Lyons; and sister, Sarah L. Chen.

The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Michael Sundstrom officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and from 4-5 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Burial will be in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.
