Socorro Gonzales (Villagomez) May 13, 1922 - November 9, 2013 Socorro Gonzales, a long-time resident of Bakersfield, Ca, went to heaven on Sunday the 10th of November surrounded by all her loved ones. Socorro was a cook at East Bakersfield High School for 35 years until she retired in 1986. After she enjoyed her time surrounded by family, friends and her precious dogs Chiquita and Tiny. Socorro was an active member of Faith Lighthouse Church. Socorro is survived her daughter: Isabel Sanchez and daughter-in-law Elaine Gonzales. She also is survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Socorro has joined her Husband Mike Gonzales, sons Lawrence and Tom Gonzales, and great-grandson Antonio E Sanchez III. A viewing will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Service and Burial to follow at 2:00 PM. Hillcrest Memorial Park
