Services for Herbert L. Witt, 81, of Kerrville, who died Saturday at a local hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Richard Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Born January 17, 1908, in Houston, Mr. Witt married Estella Amelia Kaiser June 14,1934, in Houston. A resident of Kerrville since 1946, he had worked for the Kerrville Post Office for many years. Mr. Witt was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife of Kerrville; a sister, Minnie Repp of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ellsworth Rhoads, Leroy Klein, Dolf Wenzel, Louis Theile, Bill Schwausch and Denton Plumlee. Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
