Deceased Name: Morrelle Moore

BAYOU LA BATRE - Morrelle Francis "Pete" Moore, who retired from the Alcoa Co. after 42 years, died Sunday at an area hospital. He was 83.
Moore, a native of Notasulga, Ala., was a resident of Bayou La Batre for the past 54 years. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Margaret's Catholic Church.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Cleo Felps Moore of Bayou La Batre; one daughter, Rebecca Ann Hider of Mobile; five sons, Carlton Lee Moore and Michael B. Moore, both of Mobile, Roy A. Moore of Mary Esther, Fla., Ray T. Moore of Middletown, Del., and James M. Moore of Shalimar, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Bayou La Batre. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre.
Arrangements are by Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road in Mobile.
