Visitation at Morrow-Quinn Mortuary will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday for William L. Hubbell, 57, who died around 9 a.m. Friday in Alton.

A pharmacist for 35 years, he owned and operated the Hubbell Pharmacy, 520 Ridge St., Alton, for the past 19 years.

He was born in Bement, Ill., Sept. 26, 1911, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hubbell of Monticello, Ill. He attended the Monticello schools and was graduated from the University of Illinois Pharmacy College. His marriage to the former Nell Fristoe, who survives, took place in Monticello, June 28, 1936.

The well-known Alton pharmacist was a member of the Illinois Pharmaceutical Association, National Association of Retail Druggist and the Madison County Druggist Association.

In addition to his parents and widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Max (Ann) Moore of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Elzora Channer of Decatur, Ill.

The Rev. Laurence Wagley, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Alton, where he was a member, will officiate at funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mortuary. Interment will follow in Upper Alton Cemetery.

The family has designated the building fund of the First United Methodist Church of Alton as a memorial.
