Marina, a long time resident of Santa Cruz and a recent resident of Santa Fe, passed away at the St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. She was predeceased by her husband Emeterio Lopez (D: 1931); son Pedro Lopez.
Marina was survived by 4 sons: Pablo Lopez (wife Siria) and Nobert Lopez (wife Daisy) of Fairview, Jose Lopez (wife Winifred) of Martinez, California, and Manuel Lopez of El Llano; 3 daughters: Antonia Medina and Annie Tapia (husband George) of Santa Fe, and Margaret Gutierrez (husband Ernesto) of El Lano; daughter-in-law Beatrice Lopez (Pedro's widow) of Santa Fe; 2 step-daughters: Mrs. Regina Vigil of Albuquerque and Sofia Duran (husband Marcos) of Pueblo, Colorado; sister Antonia Montoya of San Pedro; brother Ramon Maestas of Kellogg, Idaho; sister-in-law Mrs. Luis Maestas of San Pedro; 2 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces and other relatives.
Funeral services were on 11 Feb 1976 in the Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
