Agnes Clara Brezicka was born March 17, 1913, in Sargent County, N.D., where she grew up and attended school. On Jan. 2, 1929, she married William Thomas Mahrer in Cayuga, N.D. They farmed near Forman until 1961, when they retired and moved into Forman. He died in 1987. She entered the health-care center in 1998.
She is survived by a son, James; a daughter, Irene Skroch; a brother: Raymond; a sister: Margaret Bryant; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
