Brad Joseph Silva passed away peacefully on November 6, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends.

Brad will be remembered for his passion and dedication to Peninsula Little League and all of those children and their families. His leadership of the "League" over so many years was given gratuitously and without any expectation of personal gratification. Brad had a zest for life. He loved music especially John Fogherty (CCR) and Van Morrison. He loved to dance, sing karaoke, and visit the casinos, and had many lifelong friends. If you were ever in trouble or in need, Brad would be there to help.

Our beloved Brad is survived by his sons, Josh and Joey Silva; father, Ralph F. Silva, Jr.; brother, Ralph F. Silva, III; sister, Catherine Neves; brother-in-law, Arnold Neves, Jr.; nephews, Garrett and Chase Decker; aunts, Lucille Machado and Carolyn Medina; many cousins, godchildren; and a mountain of friends. Brad, we will miss your humor, your smiling face, your bear-like voice, and your inability to tell time. Our sorrow is only slightly eased by the knowledge that you have now joined your beloved mother, Evelyn and many other loved ones that have gone before you.

There will be a graveside funeral at Holy Cross Cemetery at 12 noon on Friday, November 15. Gravesite location is Plot 42 in the Ascension Section (which is located in the Northwest corner area of the cemetery.) Memorial reception to follow at The Bayside Bar at the Holiday Inn - Bayside, 4875 North Harbor Drive for family and friends.
