Following a short illness of heart disease, Mrs. Rosie Workman, well known Paton woman, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her son, Ben Workman, in Perry. She was born in 1863 in Marion County, Iowa and following her marriage to Henry Workman in 1879, the remainder of her life was spent in and around Paton. Her husband preceded her in death. Surviving are four sons and two daughters: Edgar and Ben of Perry, Harvey of Des Moines, W. K. Workman of Los Angeles, CA; Mrs. M. B. Carstenson of Paton and Mrs. Joe Givens of Farnhamville. Services will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday in Perry, after which the body will be brought to the Friends Church in Dawson township where services will be at 3:30, in charge of the Rev. Rosa's maiden name was McDaniel. She married Henry Workman in Marion County, Iowa, Aug 27, 1879. After Henry died, Rosa McDaniel Workman married Henry W. Beacham. Contributed by "Susan"
