MRS ETHEL CLAUDINE HINES, widow of Cyrus Hines, resident of this city, died at Chronic Disease Hospital, Blue Ridge Summit, Sunday at 6:30 pm of complications after an illness of two years, aged 61 years.

Born and reared in this city, she was the daughter of the late Paul J and Martha J Creager Clowes, and lived her entire life in Hagerstown until seven months ago. She was a member of St Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving are a son, Milton W Hines, this city; sisters, Mrs. James Boward and Mrs. Milton Gillan, this city; Mrs. Lydia Cox, Akron, Ohio; and Mrs. John Gallagher, Tucson, Arizona.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 pm at A K Coffman Funeral Home with the Rev Dr F Berry Plummer officiating; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
