Thomas Everett Sparks, 79, of Craigsville died Sunday, Dec. 10, 1970. He was a retired coal miner and he was born Feb. 29, 1891.
Surviving are seven sons: Elbert Sparks, Craigsville, Thomas E. Sparks, Livonia, Michigan: Gilbert Sparks, Wayne, Mich: Delbert Sparks, Wayne, Mich; Delbert Sparks, St. Clair Shares, Mich; Edgle Sparks, Detroit, Mich; James E. Sparks, Jackson, Mich. Kenneth Sparks, Jackson, Mich; four daughter: Della Cox, Craigsville; Katheryn Zyla, Jackson Mich.; Mary Lee Sanders, Detroit, Mich; Thelma Hensley, Westland, Mich.; sister, Lottie Carney, Detroit, Mich.; brother, Bud Sparks.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hinkle Chapel, Craigsville with the Rev. Lawrence Dorsey and Rev. Charles Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Craigsville Cemetery under the direction fo Simmons-Coleman Funeral Home, Richwood.
