She was a member of Howell General Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending the Challenger Sunday school class. After retiring from Ball Plastics, she worked as a sample lady at Sam's until she was 86. She also enjoyed traveling.
Curtis is survived by her close family, Blanche Poole of Slaughters, KY, Marilyn Carroll of Bremen, KY and Gina Schaar of Evansville; several other cousins; and a multitude of friends.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin, with burial to follow. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street.
