Services for Mary Alice {Sehl} Malay, 62 of 223 Erickson Street ,who died Monday December 24 1990 at St. Joseph Hospital will be at 830am Friday at Welter-Price Funeral Home and 9am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt NY. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Thursday at the funeral home 2649 James Street. Mrs Malay was a life resident of Syracuse NY. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the auxiliary of Counsil 5398,Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are her husband, Donald W. ; three sons James E. of Norman Okla. ; Patrick D. of Springfield , Mo.;and Daniel M. of Syracuse, Ny.;Three daughters, Eileen Malay of Cortland, Ny. ; Mary L. Malay of Rochester, NY. ; and Kathleen A. Carducci of Syracuse, NY. a brother Francis {BUD} Sehl of Bridgeport, Ny. ; A sister Elizabeth {Betty] Francey of Syracuse and four grandchildren.Mary Alice was a skilled seamstress and at times worked for Wegmans in the store fabric department as well as at JoAnne Fabrics.
