She was born on September 5, 1936 in Gap Mills, West Virginia, daughter of the late Frank and Addie (Sarver) Carper.
Ada was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
Ada is survived by her husband, Gail Henthorn; daughters, Shelia (James) Gallick of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Cynthia (Neil) Hersman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; brothers, Emory Carper of Mount Vernon and Donald (Suzanne) Carper of Rock Hill, South Carolina; grandchildren, Angel (Brian) Jordan of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Nicole (Seth) Loudermilk of Newark and Nicholas (Amanda) Howard of Newark; and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High Street, Mount Vernon. Burial will follow in the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
